A native plant to the Amazon Rainforest, this is a tree with a smooth and straight trunk up to 120 feet tall.
The bark is grayish and the leave alternate trifoliolate.
Para rubber tree has sticky latex wich that coagulates.
This natural rubber tree is used for many rubber products.
When ripe, the seedpods burst open and the seeds are scattered around, up to 110 feet from the tree.
Hardiness USDA zone 9 - 11.
Propagation seeds or vegetative.
Culture plant directly or make seedlings. Recalcitrant seeds are not refundable since they are prone to fungus and often difficult to germinate.
